Donor support is essential to Doernbecher, and this year, donations from Shamrock Run Fest will directly benefit the incredible Child Life Program at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.
Partners
Child life therapy helps children and their families cope with the challenges of hospitalization through play, education, and creative activities. Child Life Specialists are vital members of a child’s care team, focusing on the emotional, social, and developmental needs of every child in the family.
The OHSU Doernbecher Child Life Program provides:

Art, music, playrooms, toys, costumes, and games

Therapeutic, medical, and developmental play

Animal-assisted therapy with facility dogs, Casey and Davis
You can help make a difference! Donate during registration for Shamrock Run Fest, and keep an eye out for our Toy Drives at local events and our Shamrock Run Fest Expo.
Together, we can bring comfort, joy, and healing to children and families at Doernbecher.

An initiative dedicated to empowering and supporting girls in running! Our mission is to promote both physical and mental well-being through existing programs right here in our Portland community.
The Shamrock Half Marathon Run Festival presented by Toyota is are proud to support these three incredible Portland nonprofits.
100% of proceeds raised through SheRock is divided equally between these three local non-profits
Introducing
SHE FLIES connects girls and women across Oregon to sports, and creates inclusive communities through our programs, partnerships and networks.
Girls on the run inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running.
Wildwood Running provides clinics, workshops and camps to coaches and girls to provide education to support the female bodied athletes.
